Dr. Carol Ngozi Anyagwa

I am a passionate academic and researcher with a bias for the English Language. My research interests include English Phonetics and Phonology, English Morphology, New Media Studies, Nigerian English Discourse and Sociophonetics. I have approximately 15 years of experience in tertiary education, with a track record of excellence in teaching and mentoring. My career interests revolve around research, training and instruction in the following areas: Oral English Content Development, elocution training, teacher training, language and content editing, and Voice Over Artistry. As a Senior Lecturer at the Department of English, University of Lagos, I have published academic papers in many peer-reviewed local and international journals and have co-edited two books - Functional Approaches to Language and Literary Studies and Nigerian English in Linguistic, Literary and Other Perspectives. I participated in the International Career Coaching Programme Advance (Stimulating Sustainable Entrepreneurial-Thinking in Scientists – SSETS) which earned me the Envirofly Consulting (UK) Limited Certificate of Continuing Professional Development.
