     I am a Faculty member at the Department of English, University of Lagos, where I obtained BA, MA, and PhD degrees respectively. I have researched on the use of metaphor as a communicative tool in Nollywood films, political discourse, music, gender and culture. My research interests are Metaphor studies, Discourse Analysis, Sociolinguistics and Applied Linguistics.
