  1. Personal Statement

I have been a full Professor of Philosophy since 2016, specializing in Applied Ontology, Metaphysics and Epistemology of the Kantian, Phenomenological and African traditions. I am the current Head of Philosophy and also the current Chairman Board of Trustees Faculty of Arts Alumni Association (FAAA). I was the Sub-Dean of Arts (2011-2013). I hold membership of Philosophical Association of Nigeria (PAN), Nigeria Academy of Letters (NAL), and International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP). My current areas of research is on Integrative Metaphysics Phenomenology of Life-force, Motherhood Earth Ethic and African AI, which are knowledge systems/methodologies derived from African cultural hermeneutics for constructing, deconstructing and reconstructing issues in leadership, security, economy, policy, ideology, nation building and African knowledge system on environmental sustainability.  I have successfully supervised 8 Ph.Ds. My contribution to knowledge is especially important in the area decolonization of Western knowledge corpus, and the deconstruction and reconstruction of African indigenous knowledge corpus through a dialogical process of complementary studies.
