I am a specialist and researcher of Islamic Studies with a passion in Islamic legal studies, Islamic Law (Shar\u012b\u2018ah<\/em>) and Jurisprudence (Fiqh<\/em>), with a bias on contemporary studies in Islamic legal theories and concepts of Maq\u0101\u1e63id Ash-Shar\u2018iyyah<\/em> (aim and objectives of Shar\u012b\u2018ah<\/em>). My work focuses on some legal theories and concepts in Maq\u0101\u1e63id Ash-Shar\u2018iyyah<\/em> (aim and objectives of Shar\u012b\u2018ah<\/em>) like Sadd Adh-Dhar\u0101\u2019\u012b <\/em>(evil blockage legal mechanism),<\/em> Ma\u1e63la\u1e25ah <\/em>(legal public interest), Isti\u1e25s\u0101n <\/em>(juristic preference), Isti\u1e63l\u0101\u1e25 <\/em>(legal public welfare) and Istihsh\u0101b<\/em> (legal presumption). My ultimate goal is to translate and contextualize these Islamic legal theories and concepts into effective Islamic legal tools that will provide and preserve the three basic needs of man in the contemporary society such as \u1e0car\u016br\u0101t <\/em>(Basic needs), Hajiy\u0101t <\/em>(Supplementary needs) and Tahs\u012bniyy\u0101t <\/em>(Complimentary needs) in Islamic Law (Shar\u012b\u2018ah<\/em>) so as to checkmate the criminal activities which can emanate from them if they are not well guided and controlled from Islamic legal system.<\/span><\/p>
