I am an early career researcher and Cultural diplomacy enthusiast with a passion for international relations and cultural diversity, using historical knowledge. My work focuses on the theory and practice of cultural diplomacy and the disparity in expected outcomes for the sending and receiving partners. I am also interested in innovations in multiculturalism, and how states and other actors can collaborate in soft power initiatives for youth empowerment and sustainable development. I constantly seek to bridge the gap between local and global cultures by highlighting the relatedness and divergence of the two, and the importance of cultural competence for governments, institutions, businesses and individuals. <\/strong><\/p>
