The Department of English is one of the earliest departments of the Universityof Lagos founded in 1962. It runs three programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These programmes are Music, Theatre and Visual Arts. Theatre Arts. The degrees awarded are BA, MA, M.Phil. and Ph.D.
