Personal Statement
I am motivated to find and theorize certain recurring patterns that exist in literary works, especially in the field of poetry. These common patterns such as compassion, hate, indifference, disorientation and rebirth are constant in human existential affairs and are the forces which drive change and other unpredictability of existence. My research goal is to unfurl all these patterns with appropriate theoretical tools and linguistic competence. In addition, I constantly probe the contradictions in the mentioned patterns through my creative writing.
